Program

1st Day:
Departure from the Barracuda Inn Resort after breakfast, with a private vehicle that will take you to Malindi International Airport.
With a scheduled domestic flight of approximately 1 hour you will reach Nairobi.
Upon your arrival, a private vehicle will transfer you to the Ibis Styles Nairobi Westlands, the hotel where you will be staying these days which is located in the center of the capital.
Check-in and room assignment. Once settled, again with a private vehicle, you will head to the Nairobi National Park for your first exciting visit, “The Nairobi Animal Orphanage”, a refuge for wild nature, is located in the Nairobi National Park. It serves as a treatment and rehabilitation center for wild animals. The Orphanage is home to lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, serval cats, rare Sokoke cats, warthogs, leopards, various monkeys, baboons and buffaloes. Various birds can also be observed including parrots, guinea fowl, crowned cranes and ostriches…
At the end of the visit, lunch will be provided at the Park restaurant.
After lunch, by 4×4 jeep, visit the Nairobi National Park … “The World’s only Wildlife Capital”. Wide grassy plains and backdrop of city skyscrapers, scattered acacia bushes are home to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, buffalo, giraffe and several types of birds with over 400 species recorded.
At the end of the visit, return to the hotel for an aperitif at the Sky Bar and prepare for dinner.
Dinner is scheduled in a restaurant of your choice among those offered.
After dinner, at the discretion of the guests … “Nairobi by Night” or return to the hotel for overnight stay..
2nd Day:
After a hearty breakfast, your safari continues to discover the capital.
First stop of the day the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust better known as the “Elephant Orphanage” best known for its work protecting elephants, runs the most successful orphaned elephant rescue and rehabilitation program in the world. Every day, from 11:00am to 12:00am, the foundation welcomes visitors to join orphaned elephants in their midday mud bath and milk feeding at the orphanage in Nairobi National Park, an exciting experience that will stay with you forever.
At the end of the visit there will be a lunch break at a typical Nairobi restaurant, the “Carnivore”.
After lunch another exciting visit to the Giraffe Centre, a creation of the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (A.F.E.W. Kenya), a Kenyan non-profit organisation.
Their main aim is to educate Kenyan children and young people about their country’s wildlife and environment, as well as offering local and international visitors the opportunity to come into close contact with the world’s tallest species, the giraffe .
At the end of the visit your day continues with a visit to the Nairobi National Museum of Kenya and its reptile house.
The Museum hosts temporary and permanent galleries that attract both students and tourists. Permanent galleries: The Cradle of Humankind Gallery; The history of mammals; The history of Kenya; Life Cycles Gallery; The numismatic exhibition and the Asian African heritage exhibition gallery respectively.
At the end of the visit, return to the hotel for the usual aperitif, a shower and prepare for dinner.
Dinner is scheduled in a restaurant chosen from those offered.
After dinner, at the discretion of the guests… “Nairobi by Night” or return to the hotel for the overnight stay.
3nd Day:
Third and last day of this unusual safari, after breakfast and check-out, the morning includes a visit to the city exploring the historical sites and walking in modern Nairobi accompanied by a local tour guide until lunch time (also leaving room for any purchases of souvenirs).
Lunch is scheduled in a restaurant in the city center.
After lunch, by private vehicle, you will be transferred to Nairobi International Airport where, with a domestic flight of approximately 1 hour, you will be transferred to Malindi and subsequently to the Barracuda Inn in Watamu.
Expected return to the Barracuda Inn in the late afternoon.

This safari, with a variant of the itinerary, can depart from Nairobi even before the stay at the Barracuda Inn Resort.

  • From 3 to 12 years old: 30% reduction of the adult rate in the room with parents (Family Room).

THE RATES DO NOT INCLUDE

  • Drinks, meals, services and treatments not mentioned as included (e.g. fine wines and spirits, massages and spa treatments).
  • Tips, porterage and personal expenses.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Withholding of 10% of the total amount paid up to 30 working days before departure plus any expenses.
  • Withholding of 25% of the total paid from 29 to 21 working days before departure plus any expenses.
  • Withholding of 50% total paid from 20 to 11 working days before departure plus any expenses.
  • Withholding of 75% total paid from 10 to 3 working days before departure plus any expenses.
  • Withholding of 100% total paid after these terms
